Wooden Sidewalk Sign
Sidewalk Sign FAQs
How heavy are these?
Our wooden sidewalk signs run about 23 pounds each. They’re heavy enough to stay put on a nice day, but light enough to be moved in and out each day. If you live in a windy area, you’ll want to consider some sandbags.
Any tips for the care and feeding of my sidewalk sign?
Your sidewalk sign will thank you for bringing it inside each night and whenever it’s accumulating snow or rain. Since it’s made of wood, it may start to warp if left in the water. We also recommend that you try to avoid letting your sign bash into things. Like most things, the signs will dent or chip if they get hit too hard. If you’ve ordered a painted sign and it’s gotten chipped, let us know and we’ll send you a jar of touch up paint.
Do you offer writable or magnetic surfaces?
Indeed, we do! We have the option to add a magnetic, chalkboard, or dry erase section to your sign. Please keep in mind that adding a magnetic steel to your signboard will probably make it a bit heavier than the advertised 23 pounds. To design a sign with a magnetic or writeable surface, email your design notes and files to Jess at firstname.lastname@example.org, and she’ll put together a quote and mockup for you within one business day.
